There are 4 lines of tourist boats that cross the Canal Grande in both directions where there are several bridges and ports for docking. The lines are based on different mileage routes to the discovery of several aspects of the tourist area, from culinary delights to those artistic, historical and religious.

Currently the Association of Municipalities of the Naviglio Grande, with the cooperation of local governments, has made some operational ports and a total of four routes that are viable individually during every Sunday from May to September or groups by appointment.

The period from May to September is marked by the presence of water in the Canal that makes possible the tourist navigation.

The path, in total, also includes numerous historical bridges on the Canal as those of Castelletto di Cuggiono Bernate Ticino, Boffalora sopra Ticino, Pontenuovo, Ponte Vecchio, on the Canal Robecco, Cassinetta Lugagnano and Castelletto di Abbiategrasso.
